Shipping and Return Policy
At STEAM STUDIO, we understand that your holiday purchases are important, and we are committed to doing everything we can to ensure timely delivery. However, due to the high volume of parcels that shipping providers handle during the festive season, delivery times can be affected. Below are our guidelines and recommendations for Christmas deliveries:
Recommended Order Deadlines
To increase the likelihood of receiving your items before Christmas Day (December 25th), we recommend placing your orders by the following dates:
- Standard Shipping:
- VIC 17th Dec
- NSW, SA, QLD 14th Dec
- WA 10th Dec
- NT 6th Dec
- Express Shipping (metro only):
- VIC 19th Dec 5PM
- NSW, SA, QLD 17th Dec 5PM
Please note that these are recommended latest dates based on typical delivery times provided by our carriers, but they are not guaranteed. We advise you to order as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
STEAM STUDIO guarantees that all orders placed before the recommended deadlines will be dispatched from our warehouse on time (within 2 business days). Once the items leave our premises, the responsibility for delivery falls to the shipping carrier. STEAM STUDIO is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, especially during peak periods. We are unable to offer compensation for deliveries that do not meet the expected delivery date.

General Shipping Policy
Orders are usually dispatched in 2 business day(s) via Australia Post Regular Parcel Services. We are currently dispatching orders on each Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The cutoff time for each dispatch is 5PM the night before. Express shipping is only available for Metro areas (except WA and NT). If express shipping option is selected but your delivery address is outside of our coverage, we will notify you if we are unable to send via express. We may not be able to speed up dispatch if orders are placed after the cutoff time.
Please check you email junk folder if you did not receive notification emails after you placed an order with us.
We are not able to ship overseas (including NZ) however New Zealand customers are welcome to order from our Amazon AU store.
Tracking events are normally updated in 1-3 business days after dispatch. This is common as our parcels are picked up by Australia Post instead of being dropped off/scanned at a LPO where an instant tracking event is provided. The tracking update delay does not indicate a delay in delivery and are usually the same speed as if not faster than dropping off at a LPO.
If you change your mind, we accept returns as long as the following conditions are met:
- Request return within 30 days of receiving order.
- As new and is not used or opened, and has all original package seals being unbroken.
- The item is returned in a saleable/original condition with the original packaging.
A refund will be applied to the account that was used to make the payment.
If the item you purchased is faulty, we will gladly assist you in replacing the product or the faulty parts. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and quote the order ID.
